In response to that growth, it has opened an office in Newcastle – its fifth regional office.
MAPP manages some large assets in the region including The Wilton Centre near Redcar, the North East’s largest and most prominent science park, Eldon Square and various office buildings in the city.
Lucy Redshaw who has 15 years’ experience working in the City has joined MAPP and will lead the business in the North East.
MAPP’s Property Management and Building Consultancy teams in Birmingham continue to grow and as a result MAPP has also taken nearly 6,500 sq ft space at Ardstone’s 1 Newhall Street scheme.
The offices will comprise a mixture of collaborative and individual workspaces with several meeting rooms, and the space has been designed very much with the sense that the post-Covid workplace will look very different.
In addition to Newcastle and Birmingham, MAPP also has regional offices in Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow.
Nigel Mapp, CEO commenting on the new offices in Birmingham and Newcastle said;
“These new offices are a real sign of our commitment to the regions.
Newcastle has always been an obvious and strategic choice for our fifth regional office and we are delighted to announce our growth into the North East’s premier city.
After a series of moves, we are also looking forward to putting down some solid and strong roots in the UK’s second city. I also have a personal connection having been born and educated in Birmingham and our presence and growth there is a source of great personal pride.”
