New Talent for the MAPP Parks Site Teams

MAPP has strengthened its Business and Science Parks Management site team with the addition of two key hires, Kerry Wilson and William Turley.

Kerry Wilson has joined MAPP as Campus Director, at Kent Science Park. She brings a wealth of experience running trophy assets in Central London concentrating on delivering exceptional service and nurturing tenant relationships, including a 7-year stint at the Gherkin. Kerry’s breadth of experience is backed by strong education and training including Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) and National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) qualifications.

The park comprises 47 buildings with varied uses including laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturing bases, greenhouses, coworking areas and offices spread over 65 acres of landscaped grounds. As Campus Director, Kerry will be catering for and developing the specialised occupier community that has formed over recent years, using her experience to maintain high levels of occupier satisfaction and drive hotelification.

William Turley has also joined the MAPP site team as Campus Director of the Edinburgh Technopole site. William has a career spanning 30 years in the healthcare & education sector with specific experience in statutory & mandatory compliance, critical services, healthcare and specialist cleanroom environments. He also has extensive senior facilities management and operations experience spanning a range of other sectors.

Edinburgh Technopole is formed of six buildings within 126 acres of countryside, including the Grade A listed Bush House and Cottages. William’s background in the healthcare and education sectors makes him ideally suited to working with and understanding the needs of occupiers at Technopole, including a selection of bio-science ventures and a University of Edinburgh facility.

Nigel Mapp, CEO of MAPP, said:

“These new hires are a reflection of the continued and sustained period of growth for the business, which now employs over 550 people. Kerry and William bring the right skills and experience to deliver MAPP’s unique approach to property management, focusing around community building and sustainability.”

Together, Kerry and William join the specialist team which oversees the property management and operations of MAPP’s science parks, managing this complex asset class and providing outstanding service to owners and occupiers.
