MAPP expands capabilities with new Technical Services department.

MAPP have launched a Technical Services team and are delighted to announce that Jason Collett, who joined MAPP over two years ago has now been promoted to lead and oversee that team.

This new team offers MAPP clients a full ‘cradle to grave’ management solution for the whole life cycle of any building we manage.

The team will be able to;

  • Deliver solutions for long-term asset replacement, fabric planned preventative maintenance schemes and EPC, MEES improvement roadmaps and implementations.
  • Lead and provide guidance on the production of Building Fit-out Guides, Completing Design For Management process, Soft Landing implementation, and supplement the existing Licence to Alter, and fit-out management process already delivered by MAPP.
  • Lead the technical process on Facilities Management building accreditation for example WELL, Fitwell, WiredScore, and any future accreditation.

The Technical Services team will also manage and lead the implementation of any building optimisation solutions, initially working with clients and building occupiers to identify the optimisation goal, be it utilities reduction, system efficiencies, or optimisation as a result of a change of space use, or any other bespoke requirement.

The Technical Services team will also lead in the implementation of new building technologies, either asset enhancements for example heat pump technologies, electrification, or customer experience enhancements, i.e. touchless building entry, connectivity, and other SMART building solutions.

“Our clients have faced many challenges in the last couple of years and will continue to do so. Providing them with the expertise to deliver high-quality technical solutions in an efficient and effective way and through a team with continual input has been a focus for us. Jason and his team bring the skills to deliver that alongside MAPP’s other service line experts already focussing on our client’s carbon pathways. He has made some significant interventions alongside his mobilisation skills and we are delighted to see him in this role.”
