MAPP strengthens senior team with two strategic appointments

MAPP has strengthened its team with the creation of two new senior roles to help facilitate and drive the firm’s ongoing growth as the UK’s leading specialist commercial property management business.

Nikki Yates

Nikki joins MAPP as a Director and Head of Occupier Experience, a new role reflecting the company’s ethos and continuing investment in placing the occupier at the heart of property management.

With a career that has blended strong facilities and property management skills from Nelson Bakewell with practising commercial and residential litigation at Boodle Hatfield, Nikki brings insight and understanding of exemplar occupier service and conflict avoidance. This practical and commercial appointment will continue to shape MAPP’s market-leading approach to occupiers to drive trust, loyalty and customer retention.

Rob Stokes

Rob also joins as a Director and Head of Data, where he will be the fulcrum between MAPP’s technology team and the operational business to ensure the firm is capitalising on the breadth of high quality data to help drive better decision making for MAPP and its clients.

He brings with him a wealth of data management experience, having previously spent over 20 years at Royal Mail, and has also held senior roles with Capita Plc and Cluttons LLP.

The appointments have been made in response to a continued and sustained period of growth for the business, which earlier this year integrated the Edmond de Rothschild Property Management Team into its business and now employs nearly 450 people. The move is also due to the increased importance that Funds, REIT’s and Property Owners are attaching to Property Management, the added complexity and scope in the sector and MAPP developing its unique V1.0, V2.0 and V3.0 model of Property Management.

Nigel Mapp, CEO of MAPP, said:

“The experience of our occupiers and our intelligent use of data are two of our most important commodities which underpin our business. New technologies and collaborations are playing a key role in re-imagining the workplace post-pandemic and MAPP will be at the forefront. With these new hires, we have the best possible people to lead these functions, which as a people and experience-driven business, is a prevalent trait across all our services and operations.”

To provide clients and their occupiers with the highest quality, integrated world class service, MAPP works hand in glove with a range of tech developers and service partners such as WiredScore, Centric Lab, Locale, Coyote and Demand Logic.
